SEVEN DAYS — LIVING IN THE PROPHETIC
Hear. Discern. Speak. Obey.
There is a difference between being fascinated by prophecy and living prophetically.
Living prophetically isn't about constantly having a word.
It isn't about titles.
It isn't about platforms, predictions or telling everyone else what God is supposedly saying.
It is about becoming a people so close to Jesus, so rooted in His Word and so sensitive to the Holy Spirit that when He whispers, we recognise His voice—and when He speaks, we are prepared to obey.
These seven days are about learning that way of life.
DAY ONE — PURSUE THE GIVER
You don’t become prophetic by chasing prophecy.
You become prophetic by walking closely with Jesus.
“Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:1
Notice the order.
Love first. Gifts second.
The prophetic was never intended to make us impressive. It was given to strengthen the Body and reveal the heart of Jesus.
Pentecost opened the door wide.
Sons and daughters.
Young and old.
Ordinary believers filled with an extraordinary Spirit.
So perhaps the first question isn't:
“Am I a prophet?”
But:
“Lord, am I available?”
Before revelation comes relationship.
Before speaking comes listening.
Before platform comes character.
The prophetic life begins in His presence.
TODAY
Spend some quiet time with God and simply pray:
“Holy Spirit, make me available. Purify my motives. Teach me to love people more than I love being heard.”
Then wait.
Presence before prophecy.
