DAY THREE — COURAGE BEFORE PHARAOH
Read: Exodus 5:1–5
God sent Moses back to the very place from which he had fled.
Back to Egypt.
Back to Pharaoh.
Back towards the memories of his failure.
And Moses carried a message:
“Let My people go.”
Calling eventually requires courage.
There comes a moment when prayer must become obedience and revelation must become action.
Moses did not confront Pharaoh because he suddenly became fearless.
He went because God had sent him.
Northumberland's Christian history contains similar moments of courage.
King Oswald and Aidan represent very different callings working together — royal authority and missionary calling — but both were willing to act upon what they believed God was doing.
God still requires men and women willing to stand when standing is costly.
Not arrogant.
Not aggressive.
But immovable in truth.
Action:
Identify one area where fear has been controlling your obedience.
Ask:
“What would obedience look like if fear wasn't making the decision?”
Then take one truthful, faithful step.
