I have managed multi-disciplined teams delivering complex projects worldwide in high technology-based businesses, including multinational and start-up businesses

- Co-founder/founder of six start-up companies
- Hands on experience of managing six business start-ups / SME'S with P&L responsibility.
- Strategic business development, with hands-on, face-to-face customer development.
- Experienced in M&A and preparation for company listing
- Extensive senior operations experience, setting up new manufacturing operations, and developing outsourced manufacturing services.
- Developing business plans and financial modelling and budgeting.

Significant achievements include:
- Led manufacturing division to be profitable after two years from start-up doubled revenue year on year before a successful IPO in '96 and subsequent sale to SDLI (USA).
- Introduced four new products to the market including the worlds first 10 GHz integrated driver modulator in 2001.
- Launched the world’s first optical ASIC platform for complex optical silicon integrated circuits.
- Set up FLCD micro-display manufacturing operation and electronics assembly ahead of target and budget.
- Co-Founder of a Solar cell manufacturing company.
- Leading the implementation of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (Lean six sigma) projects across a variety of companies.
- Program management for the European Space Agency contracts, and other commercial space and defence projects.
- Turn-around of electronics contract design and manufacturing business
